for the Jesus Christ Superstar tour I needed few but good tones, which were as analog as possible.
Basically I needed a good distortion sound, a nice crunch, a dirty clean sound, wha wha and some delay and modulation here and there, nothing more. For theatrical works, the volume pedal and the ability to raise your volume during the solo parts are very important. In this specific case, moreover, I needed to tune very quickly and therefore it was essential to use the Polytune that allows me to control the tuning of all six strings at the same time.
I studied together with Costantino Amici di Costalab a solution that was simple but complete and versatile, few pedals but with precise and correct tones. Costantino then dedicated himself to its realization by wiring everything flawlessly, as you can see from the photos, and adding his new Energy power supply.
I am really very satisfied with the result: the pedalboard sounds really good, clean in the sound and in the wiring, super resistant and reliable as only the work of a professional can do.
